Phew it was been a long day. My first day of work was pretty good. There were some neighboring elementary school students visiting the nursing home caroling. The patients' faces would just light up with joy as soon as the kids entered the room. The whole spectacle lifted the mood. My first impressions of work are those of calm anxiety. It was been a while since I helped out. The biggest challenge I face is finding my spots here and there to help out. I don't want to endanger the patients nor myself. Also, there is so much paperwork. The key to keep up with the paperwork is chipping away at it everyday. It is good to be back though and see some of the patients I have worked with previously. I'm glad to see they are doing well.
