Louisiana weather never ceases to confuse me. Yesterday was a high of 55 and a low of 25. Today was a high of 70 and a low of 54. Why is the weather bipolar? I could had worn shorts. Psh, I should had worn shorts. As I observe all the northern states survive their snowstorms and the western state observe their sunny weather (seriously, you can go surfing in Cali at this time of year), I wonder why I am in a state that experiences the harsh and often irrational middle ground. I just wish Mother Nature would make up her mind instead of flirting with the weather man. It makes me think of Katy Perry's "Hot N' Cold." Wow, that song kinda makes sense on these terms. I'm quite enlightened and to Mother Nature, you can be a b*+%@.

First off, I know this mix is not traditional. That is the point. Understand I do love the classics and I have those too but I plan on giving these mixes as presents to my friends. I want to send them on a musical journey. A journey that I feel that the classics, yet lovely, can't provide the adequate transport. All the songs on this CD are covers or unique Christmas songs. The reason they have been chosen is because they clearly deliver the essence of the season but provide a unique twist. Some of my personal favorites include Shake Up Christmas, Don't Shoot Me Santa, and Frosty the Snowman. I mean, I love them all but those songs kind of inspired to venture on this project. Give them a listen. YouTube can help you there because there were far too many links for me to post. Happy Holiday Listening!
