"Ho ho ho shake up the happiness, wake up the happiness, it's Christmastime" -Train
Today I woke up somewhere in the mid-afternoon and put up the rest of our Christmas lights. There is no other feeling like standing outside in the cold fiddling with electrical circuits and untangling miles upon miles of Christmas lights. It brings a warm feeling to my soul, like hot chocolate. I really do enjoy the cold weather. As a little kid, I detested it but one teacher in elementary school opened my mind to it. She explained to me that winter's purpose to fend off all the mosquitoes and bugs so the spring can be enjoyable. And as a Louisiana resident, that reason makes enough sense for me.
In other news, I found out that I will be working again. Remember the rehab tech job I had this summer? Well, they hired me again to fill in while I am home. I start tomorrow. I am pretty excited to start working again and make some extra cash. The rehab tech job rocks too. There are a lot of really nice people and it is humbling and endearing to work with patients. I can't wait.
