Today was such a nice day. Besides the heavy winds and chilly weather, it was very nice. I took a walk around the neighborhood earlier and I noticed that the wind was blowing the water from the fountain in a sheet like fashion. With the addition of sunlight, it created a constant rainbow. I thought it was really neat.
I think for today's post I want to share some of my favorite YouTube links I have encountered. Random idea, I know but I have been watching a lot of Tosh.0 since I have been home.
Double Rainbow: Looking at my photo for today it would make sense that I would talk about this video. If there is anything I learned in the past couple months, it is that autotune makes everything better. You can transform a boring, bland conversation into a club hit with the use of autotune. Ask T-Pain.
Girl freaks out about pizza: Ok, this one is a little near and dear to my heart. This video happened at LSU, like last week. This girl is waiting at the Papa John's at 1:30 am when she just freaks out. I was not there personally when it occurred but I have a friend who part of this recorded on his phone. The guy, James, I have seen him around campus. He is a member of the computer science fraternity. A little background on this event...that girl, she doesn't have some mental issues. I was informed by a friend of mine that she was in my Anthropology class and when I thought about it it all made sense. She would come flying in late all the time and get into arguments with our professor. And James...he broke his arm recently and he was on pain medication when the girl blindly tossed her sandwich wrap at his arm. I am not saying that he has a reason to act the way he did but the whole picture is better understood with those details. I just think the situation is funny but I know deep down there we are capable of acting that way. This video has blown up since being uploading on YouTube. The megaphone effect has played a major role. Even to the point where Anderson Cooper talked about it on CNN the other day. Moral of this video...don't screw up anyone's pizza during finals week.
Lastly, I would like to talk about this video:
Dude Perfect: This video is just stupid insane. I love sports. Obviously, you know that. But some of the shots they make on this video are crazy. And they are not fake. These guys have been on SportsCenter recreating these shots. Dude Perfect has become one of most popular viral video series ever. They are traveling now performing ridiculous shots and screaming on top of random roofs. They are legit.
