Day 175 - 12/9/10

This my friends is called a Finals Week Flash Rave. At the end of each semester, a flash rave is organized as a stress reliever. I don't know who leads it but thanks to powerful megaphone effect of facebook it becomes the biggest 20 minute party on campus. Hundreds of students met at the Greek Amphitheater and at the cry of GEAUX we ran...straight in front of the library to participate in the biggest on-campus rave anyone has ever seen. There were glow sticks. There were roman candle fireworks. There was crowd surfing. I actually saved a girl from falling on her head. Maybe she'll read this and thank me. I absolutely love raves. Over the summer my friend Austin got me hooked on house, dubstep, techno, and everything in between. He even taught some simple DJ techniques. I can't wait to get back home so I can start that back up again. Here's a video from last year's LSU Flash Rave so you have a taste of what I was in the heart of.

This of course leads me to next point: TOMORROW is my LAST day of the semester. Two more finals and I'm done for the semester. Wish me luck, I have been studying for what seems forever on them. It has honestly been a great semester and I'll be able to reflect more on it tomorrow when it is all over.
