Funny story about that caption. So Joe Brooks wrote this song about a girl, but he wanted to remain anonymous about who the girl was. He then decided to replace her name with a simple piece of fruit which I think was a brilliant idea. It allows this song to maintain a lyrical sensibility while being insanely clever. I am just a big fan of awesome song writing and this song definitely fits that category. And besides, I doubt that girl's name would had fit in the song anyways.
