Day 59 - 8/15/10

"It looks like a durn hurricane outside." -wise words from a friend

Louisiana weather is incredibly bipolar. A typical day can start off with blistering 100+ heat and then in a blink of an eye it looks like Hurricane Katrina reincarnated outside. It is utterly ridiculous. I almost got blanketed in rain water leaving Wal-Mart. And the 30 mph winds tipped over my basketball goal and the Sentra was parked next to it. Luckily, it tipped over in a direction away from my car. But seriously, if would had happened, I would had been stunned beyond disbelief and probably would had cried my own flood. All I'm asking from Mother Nature is that she give me some advance warning when she's about to rain tigers and rhinos from the sky.
