Day 31 - 7/18/10

Ok, I understand this picture is kind of strange. I promise that I'm not hitting the "hey let's grow trees in the back of my car" phase of the blog. If you were in my position you would just find this a funny sight to behold and thus I took a picture. This yuca tree is the latest in the collection of decorative items for our house. We returned back to the Sam's in Lake Charles to pick up the other 2 boxes of our outdoor furniture and my mom apparently ran upon this tree and pot, fell in love with it, and put it in the back of the car. It was probably the most civil passenger in the car. Anyways, it was another day of state baseball. Unfortunately, we lost in a close nail-biter: 6-5 to Fairview. The officiating was iffy and inconsistent at best, but in the end there is not enough terrible umpiring that prevent a team from swinging a hot bat, which we weren't able to do. There's another game in the morning...I'll be up at 5 AM driving back to Sulphur. Yay? Hopefully, we can get a good win and get back into it.
