Day 258 -3/1/11

Ooooo...sketchy. Much to your surprise I did not participate in a drug deal of some kind this evening. After the soccer game (unfortunately, we lost), my friends took me to place nearby LSU called Jimmy John's. It is deli near the overpass. The sandwiches were quite delicious. I would like to think of it as a consolation prize for losing in soccer. It wasn't too terrible but losing 5-1 does sting at little. The team was very good and obviously had been playing together for a long time. That isn't the case with our team. Individually, we have the talent but we haven't played enough to know what style to play. And then, we have so many people on our team that substitutions become an issue. Do we want to play around or do we want to seriously go all out to win this thing? I know that sounds silly but if you get all geared up to play and you don't get a chance to enter the game, it sucks. You wasted your time being there. I mean, it's only recreational soccer. If it was club, that might be another story. But, I think in time will figure it out. There are only a handful of legitimate teams playing rec anyways. The majority of us are just a group of friends who want to clown around and have some fun. I do plan on winning though.
