Day 257 - 2/28/11
Good evening blogland! As this February has drawn to a close, I hope it was enjoyable. Now that March is here, it is going to be exciting. Mardi Gras is next week. March Madness is coming up soon. Everyone better get their brackets ready, I am creating a bracket pool. I'll blog more about that later. As for celebrating the beginning of March, tonight my friends and I went to the yearly Snowing in the South event on campus. Every spring, the good folks from Student Activities Board (SAB) throw an impromptu snow ball fight. In no way is this a replacement or imitation of real snow but it is still fun nonetheless. It is like playing in a giant field of sno-cone ice. Thus, we get the wet and cold effect of snow, only it's in the humid Louisiana weather and most of us are in shorts and tennis shoes. This brings me to another point...packed ice hurts. My friends thought it would be funny to chuck a "glacier" of ice at my face. It wasn't pleasant, but I got my revenge so I digress. It was a really fun study break regardless.
