Yep, I hate these things. I am grateful for their use, at least my shins are, but I find them clunky and uncomfortable. Anyways, I took a photo of my shin guards because I had my first intramural soccer game tonight. My team (the LAWLERBALLERZ...idk where the name came from, it wasn't my decision) completely dominated in a 14-2 rout. In reality, the other team wasn't the best team in the world and my team consists of previous high school soccer players. All of us as a group play a pickup game of soccer every week on campus so we are very aware that we are well trained. However, it is intramural. It is not intended to be super serious and our team is the definition of "not serious." We crack up and crack jokes about each others' performance in game. It is such a fun group of people to play with. Intramural is really about having fun and getting to run around. I can't wait to see if there are any pretty decent teams we can match up against.
