Happy February everyone! This new month has come with a huge force. That is force is awkwardly strange cold weather. Today started off with heavy heavy rain. Once the rain ended, the cold front swept in. And did it ever sweep in. Within a span of 2 hours, the temperature dropped at least 30 degrees. In February? How is this possible? It even knocked out LSU's wireless internet. So I have resorted to prehistoric techniques and the utilization of the Ethernet cable. Does anyone remember Ethernet cables? I'm not trashing them or anything and I actually find very stable and faster than some wireless connections, but this is LSU. Wireless is a way of life here. There is a computer science dorm that is completely wireless. I wonder how they are faring while waiting for the network to be repaired. However, today did teach me something. Downgrading isn't necessarily downgrading with the upgrade is downgraded. Until the network gets restructured, I will stick with the good ole cable.
