Day 146 - 11/10/10

I was inspired by a talk I heard at chapel tonight. So I want to ask a question to you? And sorta to myself.

What does it mean to share?

I know that sounds like a stupid question. I mean, I write about my life everyday. But I feel that I should share something more. Something more meaningful and extravagant.

Imagine this...

You are young child. In your hands you have a small insect (ex. butterfly, cricket, etc.). The joy you feel from capturing something so small and unique is truly indescribable. You open your hands barely just to peek and make you have something in your hands. It's the sense of innocence. My point is..as that child with that insect in your hands, what would you do first? I would definitely go show that thing to everyone. Share my joy with everyone. People who cared and people who doesn't.

Which brings me to another point...this piece of scripture stuck out to me.

Matthew 3:10 - The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.

Now, have I produced fruit? Have we all produced fruit? The key to producing fruit is being willing and ready to share. Share the values and treatment that people deserve to know.

I'm really enlightened by this whole perspective and I'm working to share more.
