Day 145 - 11/9/10

It's throwback picture day. Since I found nothing noteworthy or clever enough to take a picture of I have dug through the archives for this. This is Canal Street in New Orleans from the Anberlin concert I saw. The House of Blues has so much rich history of musical performance. Local and major label people have performed in its hallowed halls. It was such a honor to be in the presence of a historical landmark.

I also learned a random fun fact facebook-wise. Apparently, if you have the yearning to have lots of people like your status there are certain techniques you can use:

1) Root for your favorite sports team. Ex. GEAUX Tigers
2) Share an awkward situation around you. Ex. I just saw a guy riding a unicycle in a thong across the street from Lockett Hall.
3) Show how current and hip you are with pop culture. Ex. I dougie in my snuggie.
4) Quote someone noteworthy and respectable. Ex. I'm afraid that if you look at a thing long enough, it loses all of its meaning. ~Andy Warhol

And finally...it's a sure fire way to catch fire with facebook land...

5) Quote Albus Dumbledore. Ex. Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light. -Albus Dumbledore

Everyone loves Harry Potter and it is GREAT advice. I'll leave you at that.
