So I came home to spend my fall break with my family and some old friends in Alexandria. However, Alexandria seemed to welcome me with a thunderstorm. It was just random. In Baton Rouge that day, it was a hot, humid, and mostly typical fall day. As I started driving further north, I could just see the sky grow darker. Once I hit city limits, a barrier of black clouds was blocking the rest of the sunlight. So much for washing my car, right? I enjoy the rain though. Rain can be peaceful and forceful at the same time. It is one of the necessities of life. Water is one of the fueling factors of our world. I find myself glad to see it and after the storm is over that cold front is quite nice.
