Darkness is an interesting creation to me. God creates for us light, light to illuminate our life and bathes our soul in his grace and glimmer. Yet, light is not permanent. The sun sets and we are faced with the unknown and fear of night. What we fear is what we cannot see. What direction is there to go when you cannot find direction in the darkness? As much as I love the light, day by day, I am learning to embrace the darkness, for one sole reason...
 

Darkness forces us to find the light within ourselves. Because light is not only produced externally, but also produced internally. Within ourselves, we have the potential to create a light brighter and more lustrous than a billion suns through the values and depth of our character. Our souls glow continuously, day or night. All we need to do is find the light switch.
