Day 70 - 8/26/10

The first week of school is best week ever. Honestly it is the only time I can enjoy hanging out with everyone and not have to worry about those gross college things like homework or studying. Let me rephrase that. My work load is not as heavy, thus I can do fun stuff like see an outdoor concert on campus. The parade grounds officially becomes the PARTY grounds during the first couple weeks of school. Tonight, I got to see this band called the Givers. They are a band from Lafayette,LA. The best way I can describe their sound is the Yeah Yeah Yeahs with funk and jibberish sprinkled on it. They are very experimental and indie driven. And obviously, they can attract a huge crowd. I am definitely hooked on their neat sound. Give them a listen.
