Day 21 - 7/8/10

Here I am...typing away as usual. I decided to take a simple approach to today's picture. Every once in a while I feel I don't need to do something extravagant. I am not saying that my ideas are getting tapped out but I see this project as a marathon. There is no reason for me throw out all the big guns early. There is plenty of days left. It is all about pacing myself and life on its own has a tendency to impose its will. My mind has been in a writing mood all day. I just got done typing up some papers for my mom who asked me to do it. I got no issues with it. It was actually kinda interesting. It was about The Way of the Great Learning written by some of followers of Confucius more than 2 centuries after his death. Basically it talks about how the key to peace is the cultivation of individual character. We must develop appropriate character within ourselves in order to live in harmony. It is really interesting, kinda deep, but interesting.

Oh one more thing...tonight the whole landscape of the NBA has changed. There will be plenty of heartbreak and pissed off fans in Cleveland tonight. LeBron James has announced he will be playing for the MIAMI HEAT. That's right Miami fans, go sip a martini or something. You're sitting pretty right now. With Wade, Bosh, and now "King" James, on paper, we should just hand you the championship trophy right now. But of course, that is on paper, we will see what happens. If I were every other team in NBA right now (New Orleans and my adopted team Phoenix, for example), I would start practicing now and maybe pray...or do some voodoo. I haven't jumped on the bandwagon just yet, but it's hard to ignore that it just got "pimped". It will be an interesting 2011-2012 season in the NBA.
