To my beloved university,
You have been my home for the past 9 months. Nine months well spent. As I leave for the summer to return home, I look back on my sophomore year of college. In the past nine months, I've made tons of new friends, rekindled old friendships, survived the hell that is organic chemistry (and made an A btw), had two roommates, made an impact on campus, been to the Chancellor's home for dinner, watched the miracle that was LSU vs. Tennessee, attended two flash raves, and finally learned how to get around Baton Rouge. You have taught me how to be open to others. You showed me that I'm capable of leading others through mentoring and Leading Edge. You showed me that an English class could be fun again and that jazz could be my second passion. It would be a lie to say that it was year without conflict, but with each struggle I grew stronger. You have been a a part of the majority of 365 Project. You've been my main location. I find myself still very lucky to go to a university so rich in tradition You've given me so much inspiration to filled up these posts. I know this is not the end as I am only halfway done with college but I do appreciate all you done to impact my life thus far.
See you in the fall,
R.D.
