Day 323 - 5/5/11

Happy Cinco de Mayo people! First off, what exactly are we celebrating for Cinco de Mayo? I always had this vague definition but thanks for a friend on Twitter I have the answer!

"Cinco de Mayo celebrates the Mexican victory over the French army in 1862. And it's celebrated the same way it was won, with a lot of shots."

Dang, I love Twitter. A tweet like this is so insightful and slightly historically accurate. It's humorously wonderful. Just to clarify, I am NOT a drinker. And honestly, my Cinco de Mayo has been spent studying. I have another final tomorrow so going out with my friends to soak up the "party" scene. I'm pretty much the DD of the group but I am completely fine with that. I just never found interest in to social drinking or drinking. I'll stick with my coke and water.
