Day 281 - 3/24/11

All you touch and all you see is all your life will be.

 

I came across the quote above earlier today. I don't know who came up with it so I can't give credit where it's due. Those simple words have definitely made me think a lot about myself and the idea of being worthwhile in my life. How you ever felt like that? What does it mean feel worthwhile? Do you see yourself being relevant? Unfortunately, no matter how famous or successful you become, I think you will never be able to be considered relevant to absolutely everyone. Some people may refuse to see you like that. Some people may never get to know you. Some people, sadly, may completely misunderstand you and your intentions. Those fears should not hold us back though. The key to relevance is as simple as that quote. All you touch and all you see. All the things you do that touch people's lives. All the things you see because of you reach. Honestly, I know I have questioned how long my reach is, and I see so many others around me with such a greater wingspan. I want to be like them. Reach like them. Until then, I will continue to care and try to involve myself in people's lives in order to see things of purpose and to feel relevance. I just have to keep stretching.
