Day 271 - 3/14/11

Coincidentally, the day my Leading Edge Peer Mentoring partner Millie and I decide to move our small group meeting to have pizza, it falls on Pi Day. Happy Pi Day everyone! Unfortunately, this photo will be hit or miss to most of you reading. Yes, it is a pizza. It is also called by some a "Pizza Pi(e)." Get it? Get it? Ok, maybe that wasn't that funny but it certainly was ironic. Ever since high school when I learned about that uniquely irrational number, I have tried to celebrate Pi Day (3/14) but making pie references and eating a pie of some kind. This is the first year I thought about pizza and I didn't even think about it until the irony of the situation hit me. Anyways, that is little spiel on the bond between pizza and math. Call me a nerd if you want, but understand that pizza above was absolutely delicious.
