Day 195 - 12/29/10

Sorry everyone for posting late this week. Between work and home, everything is just keeping me preoccupied. There are only 2 more days left in the year 2010. Wow, it went by so fast.

I want to explain this picture. I want to think of it as a metaphor. The top of the stairwell represents the unknown of 2011. Each step has represented a transition in the past year. Let me just tell you that some steps were more stable than others and often times I found myself tripping going up those "stairs." Yet, I am near the top unwavering.. In my mind, 2010 will be remembered for perseverance. I have been through plenty this year emotionally, physically, and spiritually. This year has challenged me. I want to say that I honestly responded well but I know there are certain goals I have to carry on with me into the new year. They will be done. I can promise that. I am thinking about my New Year's resolutions. I don't want to pick the typical ones. I want to accomplish things that nourish my soul. Something that shapes my personality. I will let you know what they are.
