Day 142 - 11/6/10

LSU 24 Alabama 21!

Wow. What a crazy game?! I have waited for due justice three years since Nick Saban decided to return to college football. Saban, my once beloved coach, lead us to the promise land of a national championship in 2003. However, we have a new coach. Stern. Fierce. And even crazier than Saban ever was. I read this article fresh to the internet this evening...from ESPN.

BATON ROUGE, La. -- As Les Miles' latest stab at fourth-down trickery was about to unfold, the LSU coach bent down, snatched up some blades of grass -- and ate them.
"I have a little tradition that humbles me as a man, that lets me know that I'm a part of the field and part of the game," Miles said as a smile widened on his face. "You should have seen some games before this. I can tell you one thing: The grass in Tiger Stadium tastes best."

My coach is insane. Mad Hatter, you continue to drive me insane with your poor clock management, some what conservative play calling, and questionable decision. But it is your brilliant mind that I am in love with. Les, you coach this game with passion and guts. I am glad to have you. Keep eating that grass. Fear the Hat.
