Day 139 - 11/3/10

I am kind of in love with old, tarnished buildings. They are like the fossils of our concrete, urban society. I remember as a little kid I would draw random houses with green roofs, blue bricks, and a garage suitable for my rocketship. I also remember promising my 3rd grade teacher I would design her house. Although, my career plans may have changed, my childhood fascination hasn't faded. It would be pretty awesome to take a vacation traveling around the world visiting some the world's greatest feats of architecture. The Great Pyramids. The Space Needle. The Sears Building. Dubai. And of course, the Eiffel Tower. A building is simply a foundation and roof over your head. But it can also mean so much more.
