Today was my mom's birthday party. Remember that her birthday is the first of October. So why are we celebrating towards the end? Well, she and good friend combine birthday parties every year so it is always a grand occasion. This year we moved the location to the location pent house down the road. The back has a pool with this lake side view. I was super impressed with how reflective the water was. Also, I got the chance to talk to a old friend of mine on Skype. She and I have had own share of moments in the past but we are doing our own things right now. I'm completely fine with that. I think we are better friends because of it. It is always nice to catch up and just talk. Talk about everything. It is good to see a familiar face when you seem lost in a crowd of unfamiliar ones.
