This picture was taken a couple days ago by my friend Austin when he and his friends came through Baton Rouge. I randomly came across this picture going through my camera deleting older photos. Mike the VI is looking good this time of year. He is pretty much a rockstar. Famous. Beloved. Iconic. Sometimes I wish I could live the life he does. His days pretty much consist of sleeping, eating, and swimming in his own multi-million dollar habitat. We take great care of our tiger here. Seriously, how many universities have their own live representation of their mascot? I don't see Alabama sporting their own elephant. (And honestly their whole mascot situation makes no sense to me anyways. They are the Crimson Tide but they have an elephant? It's just bama I guess ;). ) I think Georgia and South Carolina have a bulldog and gamecocks respectively, but neither have the following that Mike has gained through the years. What's next for Mike the Tiger? Twitter? Who knows, I wouldn't be surprised.

Wow, how awesome would that be! Actually, that would be kinda funny, but in the technologically advanced world we live in, I wouldn't be surprised. So cheers to you Mike, keep being awesome!
