Day 72 - 8/28/10

Waking up at 3 in the afternoon really doesn't give you much time to think about something creative to photograph but I found something to fiddle with today. I walk by this garden by my dorm everyday and I like the random spread of yellow in an otherwise dull green background. I gave this picture a dark tint to extenuate the brightness of each individual flower. It makes me think about the psychedelic Beatles phase that I have unfortunately never been a part of in my lifetime. Not that I would want to be tripped out of LSD or other types of crazy drugs, but movies like Across the Universe make that environment so appealing on an artistic level. It is definitely its own unique blend of colorful eye candy.
